Who is responsible?

Best Futures is owned and operated by FX Securities AS. We are the data controller for personal data processed on Best Futures' own pages.

External brokers, platforms, prop firms and partners are responsible for any data they collect once you click through to their websites.

What data we may process

  • Technical server logs, such as IP address, timestamp, browser, page address and basic diagnostic information.
  • Contact details you submit yourself, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.
  • Local choices in your browser, such as your cookie preferences and whether you have dismissed the save-this-site prompt.
  • Information that you clicked an advertiser link, if the partner records the visit after you leave Best Futures.

What we use the data for

  • Operating, securing, troubleshooting and maintaining the website.
  • Responding to enquiries from readers, partners or others who contact us.
  • Remembering simple choices in your browser, so the site feels more tidy on your next visit.
  • Documenting and labelling commercial links transparently.

Legal basis

For operation, security and troubleshooting, our processing is normally based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, functioning website. When you contact us, we process the details to respond to your enquiry. For optional cookies or similar technologies, we will ask for consent where the law requires it.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by technical suppliers such as our web host, email provider or security provider when necessary to operate the website.

Enquiries are stored for as long as needed to follow up the matter. Server logs and local storage are kept for as long as needed for their purpose, or until you clear your browser data.

Your rights

Where applicable under data protection law, you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal data. Best Futures is a Norwegian company and Norwegian data protection law (which implements the GDPR) applies to our processing; you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), or, if you are in the EU/EEA, to your own national supervisory authority, if you believe our processing breaches the rules.
